Zoho separates marketing (Campaigns) from transactional (ZeptoMail). Sequenzy handles both in one platform. Password resets, welcome emails, usage alerts, and marketing campaigns all come from the same place.
4. You value direct founder support
When you have a question, you chat with the person who built the product. No support tiers. No waiting days for escalation. If you care about getting real answers quickly, this matters.
When should you stick with Zoho Campaigns?
1. You already use Zoho CRM
This is the biggest factor. Zoho Campaigns integrates deeply with Zoho CRM because they are built by the same company. Contact sync, deal tracking, lead scoring, pipeline triggers. If you are already in the Zoho ecosystem, staying there makes sense. We cannot match this integration depth.
2. You need SMS marketing
Zoho Campaigns includes SMS alongside email. Sequenzy is email-only. If multi-channel messaging matters to your strategy, Zoho has you covered.
3. Budget is your primary concern
Zoho Campaigns costs $35-50/month for 10,000 subscribers. Sequenzy costs $49/month. If price is your main decision factor and you do not need SaaS-specific features, Zoho is cheaper. Their free tier (2,000 contacts) is also larger than ours (100 subscribers).
4. You want hundreds of templates
Zoho offers 240+ mobile-responsive templates. We have around 20. If you prefer picking from a large template library rather than using AI generation or building from scratch, Zoho wins here.
5. You prefer an established company
Zoho Corporation was founded in 1996 and serves millions of customers. We are a newer platform. If track record and company stability are priorities, Zoho has more history.
6. You need A/B testing right now
A/B testing is on our roadmap and coming soon, but Zoho has it today. Use our free A/B test calculator to plan your experiments. If you need multivariate testing immediately, Zoho is the safer choice.
Honest Limitations of Sequenzy
Higher price: At most subscriber counts, Zoho Campaigns costs less than Sequenzy.
Smaller template library: 20 templates vs 240+. Our AI generates custom content, but it is a different workflow.
No SMS: We focus on email only. Zoho includes SMS marketing.
No Zoho ecosystem: If you use Zoho CRM, Zoho Analytics, or other Zoho products, we cannot match their integration depth.
Newer platform: We have less operational history than Zoho Corporation.
A/B testing: Coming soon, but not available yet.
